The closed toe design helped efficiently increase leverage, and gave him much more control than he’d had in past boots. This boot has been modified for ’07 to fit the foot better, giving even more control than last season. Always wanting his boots to be a little softer than others, we designed Shane’s overlay with a bit more flex than last season’s model. In ’07, Shanes boot also comes in an open toed version. Although Shane still prefers the locked down feel of his closed toe boot, he wanted to give those slow to pick up on the closed toe revolution, an open toed version so they could experience the soft and flexible performance of his boot.
