Most snowmobilers have several thousand dollars invested in thier snowmobiles. You should have the strongest tie down bars you can get. These Snowmobile Trailer Tie Down Bars are made with 1" x 2" steel tubing. These bars will hold your snowmobile on the trailer. Tie down Bars are only as strong as the weakest point and that is where they fasten to the trailer floor. If they fasten with a little hook that is the weak point. These bars fasten through the floor into a backup plate under the floor. Very strong and very simple setup. The kit has (2) 1" x 2" x 48" STEEL TIE DOWN BARS (4) BLACK VINYL PROTECTORS (2)STEEL CRANKS (2)STEEL BACKUP PLATES W/BOLTS. The bars are made of 1" x 2" steel tubing painted gloss black enamel with black vinyl protectors on each end. The cranks are steel with 6 inches of 1/2-13 threads and are painted gloss black enamel. The backup plates are steel 1 1/2" x 3" with a 1/2-13 nut welded in the center and are painted gloss black enamel. The bolts that hold the backup plates are zinc plated 3/16" carriage bolts 1 1/4" long with nuts and lock washers .
