Description

How Sealant Works Sealant is made to cure porosity in inflatable objects.  In other words, small pinhole leaks, seam leaks, and the micro pores inherent in some materials used for air bladders such as Latex.  1/2 ounce of Sealant is injected into the ball through the air valve using the special applicator provided.  When the ball is reinflated, Sealant seaks out these small holes and plugs them enabling the ball to remain inflated.  Sealant remains flexible and will not effect the balls roll or flight.  Sealant has been tested on dozens of soccer balls from various manufacturers at our facility in southwest Florida and tested by several coaches in the southeast with excellent results.    Sealant can also repair Basketballs Footballs Pool Floats Air Mattresses and more! When Will Sealant Work? If you fill the ball with air and it immediately deflates there is either a large hole or a rupture in the air bladder and Sealant will NOT repair it.  If when you fill the ball with air it slowly leaks over time, an hour or two, then you probably have the type of leak Sealant was designed to repair. In addition, soccer balls are made with an interior air bladder much like inflatable boats and these air bladders can be made of various materials. Hypalon, Neoprene,  PVC, Latex and Butyl are by far the most common materials used.  Sealant will work very well with these materials and some others, but not ALL materials.
